Software Re-Invention
Xbox reinvents gaming experience with complete software re-invention. Microsoft announces at E3 the Xbox 360 will be totally re-invented come this fall with a whole new dashboard. This will be the first time a top electronics product has been completely changed the technologies of software!

Above is how the dashboard is set to look. As you can see themes will still be used however instead of being displayed on each blade they will be interrogated into the background. With this new update there will be included many additional features. As you can see above you will now be able to create your own character which Microsoft call ‘Avatars’. You will now be able to personalize your avatar with clothes, looks and accessories. It has been reported that you can unlock new clothes and looks when you unlock achievements however this has not been confirmed.

With the new community feature gamers will be able to invite up to 8 friends into a party where they can interact in many different ways including voice chat, picture sharing and even games. The party leader we be able to select which activity to take part in.
Prime time is also a new feature where by gamers will interact in online game shows such as ‘Deal Or No Deal’ and ‘1 Vs 100’. It has been reported that prime time will only be available in 4 regions on initial launch. The four regions it will be available in will be North America, France, Germany and the U.K. xNineLivesx will continue in E3 coverage for its entire console gaming community.
