Video downloads to your PS3
That’s right gamers – the sleek and smooth PS3 is going to be getting video downloads, according to sources such as Wall Street Journal and Financial Times (How can you not trust a paper that’s printed in pink?)
According to these two reputable sources, Sony, as an attempt to finally catch up to Xbox Live, will be revamping the PSN Store. This service will be available through the PSN store in April. This is probably what president Howard Stringer is talking about when he discusses “expanding the PlayStation Network” or as I like to call it “not making it suck as much”
The first few movies to be release, will be, you guessed it, movies from Sony’s library. This, and a few other PS3 Style goodies were revealed at the Destination PlayStation conference last week in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sony showed off some of the video store to the attendees and also announced that North America will be the first to experience the new feature, with other regions to follow.
